Friends, the long silence is over, the period of abstinence has ended and the season of new music from your Streets family has officially begun – today – with this little tune we like to call 99.9%
Most of these lyrics were written on the back of a napkin, as is the custom, at a bar in the East Village.
It’s quite the cliche isn’t it – a depressed songwriter finishes his shit day job, walks into a dive bar by himself, gets drunk and imagines things being better than they currently are.
This song means a lot to us (as does the whole new album you’re yet to hear) so please share it, post it and scream it from the roof tops because it’s about you and about me – for all the 99.9 percenter’s (made that word up) – hope thing get a little better!
Check out its premiere over at Noisey.
